Biography

Julie Colby graduated from Washington State University in 1987 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering. She has 28 years of experience working for multiple Hanford Site contractors, including Washington River Protection Solutions (Hanford Tank Operations Contractor), Washington Division/URS (Waste Treatment Project), Advanced Technologies and Laboratories (222-S Laboratory), DMJMH+N/AECOM (Engineering Design Consulting), and Westinghouse Hanford Company (Waste Systems Engineering/Central Engineering, Tank Waste Remediation). Julie's experience includes flowsheet integration, interface management, waste feed qualification, organizational process improvement, mission analysis, functions and requirements definition, technical baseline identification and management, sampling projections, environmental permitting, process and systems engineering, contract management, facility design, project management, and proposal development.
