Amy Westesen is a chemical engineer in the Nuclear Sciences Division at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory. She graduated from Montana State University with BS in Chemical Engineering before being hired at the laboratory in 2017. In her time at the lab, Amy has been extensively involved with ion exchange testing performed with both actual and simulated tank wastes as part of the PNNL Radioactive Waste Test Platform program. She has operated a variety of scaled systems to support Hanford’s WTP DFLAW start-up and operations.
