Biography

John Thies has over 30 years of experience managing and contributing to the quality and operational readiness of nuclear projects, including support to DOE/NNSA. His support has included strategic planning, plutonium (Pu) production and processing, weapon component production, weapon safety and security; and managing quality assurance, licensing, operations, and waste management activities. He has provided technical and analytical support including systems engineering for multiple projects related to NNSA and predecessor organizations. He has a successful history of completing projects on schedule and within budget.
