Biography

I joined the non-destructive assay team with Mirion Technologies in August of 2022. I am the site manager for the Los Alamos National Laboratory field operators. I oversee the operations and maintenance of six neutron and gamma detector groups that assess radioactive waste to aid in disposition and disposal. Before joining Mirion, for the previous eleven years, I was an enlisted nuclear operator in the US Navy, where I operated and maintained naval submarine reactor plant fluid systems. I specialized in radiological controls and reactor fluid system chemistry controls. This expertise culminated in my leading the environmental monitoring team at the Nuclear Regional Maintenance Department, King's Bay, GA.
