Biography

Dr. David Ams is an Acceptable Knowledge Expert for the Central Characterization Project characterizing waste destined for permanent disposal at the Waste Isolation Pilot Plant (WIPP) near Carlsbad, New Mexico. Dr. David Ams has been involved in the WIPP project for over 14 years. Dr. Ams is a chemical compatibility specialist who has been involved in the completion of chemical compatibility evaluations for every TRU waste stream that is shipped to WIPP.
