Biography

Cody Borigo has more than 14 years of ultrasonic guided wave experience and a PhD in Engineering Science & Mechanics from Penn State University. Dr. Borigo is the Vice President of Guidedwave, where he has accrued extensive experience in all aspects of the guided wave NDI technology development cycle, including fundamental research, sensor and software development, testing and evaluation, commercialization, customer training, and field data collection. He has 18 patents, issued and pending, covering various systems and methods for guided wave inspection of pipes, plates and tubes, acoustic emission sensor technology, acoustic thermography, ice detection, and other applications.
