Biography

Kristen Mortensen has worked in Spent Nuclear Fuel management for 15 years. Working as an engineer to repackage, transfer spent nuclear fuel from wet storage to dry storage, and the safe interim storage of spent nuclear fuel in the state of Idaho. She played a significant role in the completion of transferring all fuel from underwater storage to dry storage to meet the Idaho Settlement Agreement. Currently, she is the Spent Nuclear Fuels Engineering Manager with the Idaho Environmental Coalition, LLC.
