Biography

Effran is a Modelling Engineer at DBD International, a nuclear engineering consultancy based in the United Kingdom. He applies modelling tools alongside Java programming to model technical and operational aspects involved in the management of spent nuclear fuel. Prior to this, he was a doctoral scholar at The University of Manchester where he specialized in the simulation of the rare liquid crystal phases. He published four research papers from his thesis.
