Biography

Saikat Ghosh, a chemical engineer by training, is an earth scientist in the Risk & Environmental Assessment in the Earth Systems Science Division. His work focuses on mathematical model development for environmental assessments. He developed atmospheric transport codes for regulatory decisions related to nuclear power plant licensing. Saikat also developed a biosphere model for dose assessment from hypothetical repository. Also developed an aerosol transport model to simulate hypothetical leak scenarios for dry storage canisters. Saikat supports licensing reviews for NRC.
