Dr Prasad is an Earth Scientist in the Energy and Environment Division of the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory where he has worked for the last 20+ years. He led an interdisciplinary group of climate scientists, ocean modelers, environmental analysts, and health physicists in performing this assessment at the Enewetak Atoll that the United States Congress directed the United States Department of Energy to accomplish. Dr Prasad is a hydrologist specializing in surface water and snow hydrology. His research interests include water resources management, environmental impacts assessment, probabilistic flood hazard assessment, and human performance under extreme environmental stresses.
