Biography

Mary Young started with DOE LM’s prime contractor July 2017 and became a federal employee for DOE July 2020. She now serves in the long-term surveillance and maintenance program as a site manager for several sites across the Western U.S. She has a B.S. in Biology with a concentration in Ecology, Evolution, and Organisms from Colorado Mesa University and a Masters in Natural Resource Stewardship - Ecological Restoration from Colorado State University. Mary has had various roles at LM including field team ecologist, field team leader, project manager, data manager, mentor, technical project officer, and contracting officer's representative.
