Biography

Dr. Patrick Longmire is a senior aqueous geochemist at Newport Nuclear News BWXT and Department of Energy-Environmental Management-Los Alamos Field Office, New Mexico. His technical focus is on the fate and transport and remediation of the hexavalent chromium groundwater plume at Los Alamos National Laboratory. Dr Longmire has 46 years of diverse geochemical experience previously employed by New Mexico Environment Department, Los Alamos National Laboratory, ParisTech (France), and environmental consulting firms. He has provided geochemical expertise on remediation of mine sites and groundwater and soil contamination of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances at Department of Defense facilities in New Mexico.
