Biography

Mr. Samuels is a recognized subject matter expert in sedimentology and sequence stratigraphy. As a lead geologist/stratigrapher on AECOM’s CSM team, he plays a pivotal role in applying sequence stratigraphic techniques to develop high-resolution conceptual site models (CSMs), identify data gaps, advise site investigation activities, and inform effective remedial decision-making. During his 6 years of experience in the environmental industry, he has led and managed the development of CSMs at over 100 complex sites (including 40+ PFAS Sites) for the Department of Defense (DoD), private industry, and regulatory agencies across the United States, Canada, and Europe, and was recognized as a 2023 Engineering News-Record (ENR) Top Young Professional.
