Biography

Mr. Lopez is a Certified Health Physicist in Pittsburgh, PA, with strong experience in establishing radiation protection programs and managing radioactive waste in the Oil and Gas industries (NORM and TENORM). He has health physics experience at nuclear fuel production facilities, research laboratories, legacy waste clean-up projects, and facilities associated with the production of oil and gas across North America. He interfaces with clients (or prime contractors) regarding compliance oversight inspections, release surveys, implementation of site radiation protection controls and is an advocate for client/contractor safety. Mr. Lopez received his master’s degree in Radiation Health Physics from Oregon State University.
