Biography

David Wilson is a Senior Strategist with Longenecker & Associates. David’s 37-year career with the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC) included 20 years of over their hazardous waste programs. David was integral in the regulation of the DOE Savannah River Site, establishing waste regulation oversight and cleanup. David was lead regulatory/technical representative developing the SRS Federal Facility Agreement and led the way for establishment of partnering with DoD sites and the SRS Core Team. He finished his career with DHEC as the Acting Agency Director leading a 3200-employee agency with a $600+M budget. He holds a B.S. and M.S. in Civil Engineering.
