Biography

Shawn McCabe graduated in 1997 from the State University of New York at Buffalo with a degree in Cartography/Geographic Information Systems. Shawn McCabe currently serves as the GIS and Environmental Data Management Specialist for the Buffalo District's HTRW Design Center, supporting HTRW, FUSRAP and DERP-FUDS projects. Mr. McCabe as receive praise, on numerous projects, through the years for using ArcGIS 3D Analyst for modeling: conceptual groundwater plume migration, the presence of DNAPL in fractured bedrock and the vertical extent of contaminated soils. Mr. McCabe is a certified GIS Professional (GISP) who recently completed his Masters of Science Degree in Geographic Information Systems from Johns Hopkins University.
