Biography

Dr. Lee joined SRNL in 2020 as the Director of the Earth and Biological Systems Division, following 31 combined years at PNNL and INL. During this time he worked on and managed programs funded by DOE-EM, performing R&D which included transfer of technologies to industry, leading to commercialization of environmental remediation and sensor technologies. His primary role as Director of the EBQSS Division is oversight of environmental support of environmental cleanup activities at SRS. He is also leading design of the Biomanufacturing labs at the DOE-EM sponsored Advanced Manufacturing Collaborative in cooperation with University of South Carolina-Aiken.
