Biography

Amanda has worked primarily on contaminant research as well as groundwater impacts of carbon sequestration. Her work has included fate and transport of contaminants at the Hanford Site and testing potential remediation technologies for multiple contaminants using batch and column studies. In addition, she has supported projects focused on determining the potential effect of carbon capture and storage on overlying groundwater aquifers, testing cementitious waste forms for stabilization of secondary waste, and sediment characterization. Amanda received her Bachelors in geology and Masters in Natural Resources from Eastern Washington University and Oregon State University, respectively.
