Biography

Mr. Hommel is a Principal Engineer with Savannah River Mission Completion, LLC. He has more than 20 years of experience working on Performance Assessments (or PAs). He is currently the Subject Matter Expert for the Saltstone Disposal Facility PA and is a key contributor other Savannah River Site PAs. In his current role, he has led a team of modelers and technical experts in developing the Saltstone PA, which supports ongoing disposal operations for liquid low-level waste at the Savanah River Site. In his free time, his favorite hobby is collecting and building Lego sets.
