Biography

Dr. Flach is an Advisory Engineer with Savannah River Remediation LLC with 35+ years of experience related to groundwater hydrology, computational simulation, and numerical code development. He has been the principal investigator on a number of groundwater modeling studies at the DOE Savannah River Site involving regional and local scale hydrology, contaminant migration from waste sites, and evaluation of environmental cleanup alternatives. Over the last decade his efforts have focused on DOE Performance Assessments, and research involving dual-domain formulations of contaminant transport.
