Savannah River National Laboratory
I am a postdoctoral researcher at Savannah River National Laboratory, currently working on cementitious waste forms and materials, including sequestration of contaminants in cementitious waste forms. I earned my PhD in chemical engineering at Princeton University, where I researched carbonation of alkali-activated slag with my advisor, Professor Claire White. I performed synchrotron X-ray experiments to measure pair distribution function and nano X-ray fluorescence on alkali-activated slag. My undergraduate degree is in chemical engineering at Georgia Tech. My research interests are in materials science, especially materials characterization.
