Biography

I am a degreed Chemist with 40-plus years experience in the areas of facility management, waste management, isotopes processing and development, and quality assurance. My waste management experience includes operations, management, waste acceptance, and both on-site & off-site disposal. I support Hot Cell Operations at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) within the Non-Reactor Nuclear Facilities Division. One of my assignments currently is to reduce the footprint of waste in the ORNL Hot Cells by using the most cost-efficient mechanisms available while minimizing waste, including any secondary waste from the process.
