Biography

David Richmond is an engineer at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory. He has degrees in applied physics and mechanical engineering from Whitworth University and Washington University in St. Louis. At PNNL he leads code development and thermal modeling for COBRA-SFS. He is also a member of the FAST fuel performance code development team. His current work focuses on spent fuel storage, radioactive materials transportation, and fuel performance in support of clients that include the Department of Energy, Nuclear Regulatory Commission and National Nuclear Security Administration.
