Biography

Dr. Mustafa Hadj-Nacer is a Research Associate Professor in the Mechanical Engineering Department and the associate director of the Nuclear Packaging Graduate Program at the University of Nevada Reno. His research is focused on applying and developing experimentally benchmarked computational fluid dynamics (CFD) models for the storage and transport of spent nuclear fuel (SNF) and developing wireless systems for interrogating the internal conditions of SNF canisters.
