Biography

Gerard Jackson joined DOE October 2022. He is assigned to the Office of Spent Fuel and Waste Disposition, Office of Integrated Management (IWM). He is a transportation program manager and is the federal lead for numerous DOE SNF projects in IWM. This includes Full Scale Cask Demonstration Program, Integrated Safety & Security Monitoring System, and the Armed Courier Program. The programs are part of a muti-lab IWM initiative to construct one or more consolidated interim storage facilities for SNF. Mr. Jackson is a Senior Member of Institute of Nuclear Material Management and is the INMM Northeast Chapter Treasurer.
