Biography

Veronica Wilson joined PNNL in 2002 and is an Advisor in the Nuclear Material Storage, Transportation and Logistics Group at PNNL. Prior to this, she worked as a nuclear engineer for the NRC for 20 years primarily performing reviews of criticality safety and shielding analyses to support transportation and storage applications for spent nuclear fuel and radioactive material. At PNNL, most of her work is with DOE’s Office of Nuclear Energy integrated waste management team to research solutions for storage and transportation of spent nuclear fuel. She has a bachelor's degree in nuclear engineering from the University of New Mexico.
