Biography

A Senior Physicist with 30+ years’ experience in the nuclear industry, the majority of which has been spent providing Nuclear Materials Assay instrumentation technical support and Radiometric Characterisation Services at Sellafield, UK. Able to contribute at all stages of a radiometric project, with considerable knowledge and experience, can determine the most appropriate radiometric technique for each challenge, and has been responsible for many innovative and practical solutions. Frequently plans and then leads the team performing the on-plant characterisation work, and has an exemplary record of performing safe, compliant and high-quality measurements in challenging environments.
