Biography

Derek is a senior Health Physicist at DOE HQ, Office of Science, where he provides radiation protection policy and implementation support to the Deputy Director for Field Operations and Site Offices. In his 12-year career at DOE, Derek was formerly the Director of the Office of Public Radiation Protection, where he developed policy and guidance for implementing DOE's requirements for radiation protection of the public and the environment.
