Biography

Mr. Meehan is a senior advisor to the newly created Office of the Associate Administrator for Environment, Safety and Health at the National Nuclear Security Administration. Mr. Meehan is the former Director of the Office of Nuclear Material Integration (ONMI) where he was responsible to ensure coordinated lifecycle management of accountable nuclear materials across all DOE program elements. In this role, he oversaw nuclear material managers across the department and management and administration of the Nuclear Materials Management and Safeguards System (NMMSS), the official state system of accounting (SSAC) for nuclear materials for the United States.
