MARCOM
Rick is a retired scientist from the Idaho National Laboratory where he began his career in 1982. He is currently a consultant to MARCOM, LLC, Idaho Falls, ID. In 2016 he completed a Doctorate in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Lancaster. He has worked in all phases of radioactive waste management and D&D. The International Atomic Energy Agency has recognized his expertise in decommissioning spent fuel pools, as a teacher for the IAEA D&D Courses and for the abatement of radioactive ruthenium from high-level waste samples. He has 6 patents awarded, a 2001 DOE National Pollution Prevention Award, two R&D100 Awards and a 2017 WM Best Paper Award.
