Biography

Chemical Engineer and Occupational Safety Engineer, Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, and a PhD in Nuclear Engineering with emphasis in Nuclear Safety Assessment. Worked for 10 years in consultancies, with experience in the environmental area and industrial safety, and have been working in the National Nuclear Energy Commission of Brazil - CNEN since 2010. Initially, I worked in the Radioactive Waste Management Division (DIREJ/CNEN). In 2015, I started working at the Institute of Radiation Protection and Dosimetry (IRD/CNEN) in the Department of Environmental Radiological Protection. My activities, among others, are related to radiological environmental impact assessment of nuclear facilities, including waste disposal facilities, for the licensing process.
