Biography

My name is Simone Nicholson. I am a third year PhD student at Florida International University's Engineering and Computing Education Program. My research area is improving HBCU STEM education outcomes by developing pro-Black or Afro-centered praxis for HBCU STEM colleges and departments and using Black feminist theories to help HBCU STEM academics unlearn harmful pedagogical and applications of their respective fields.
