Biography

Carolina Sanclemente is an educator with a master’s degree in Special Education and a Dyslexia Certificate. She currently teaches 5th grade at El Sol Elementary, a dual language school in Kalamazoo, MI, and is pursuing a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership with a research focus on collaboration between special education and ESL teams to improve outcomes for multilingual students. She has also served as a consultant with Urban Alliance, designing literacy programs for adult learners. Passionate about equity, literacy, and family engagement, she advocates for practices that support all learners.
