Polytechnic University of Milan
Mr. Francesco Galluccio has successfully defended his PhD dissertation in Energy and Nuclear Science and Technology at Polytechnic University of Milan within a Collaborative Doctoral Partnership with European Commission's Joint Research Centre-Ispra site. He got a Master of Science in Nuclear Engineering with a thesis on the complexation study of a promising ligand for the selective partitioning of Actinides from Spent Nuclear Fuel. Currently, he is working on the development of advanced radiochemical methods for hard-to-measure radionuclides, and green processes for the treatment and conditioning of challenging waste thus facing the most complex phases of a nuclear facility lifecycle such as decommissioning and waste management.
