Biography

Sasha Philips is the Deputy Lead of the Systems Business Line at Mirion Technologies Inc. where he leads a team that is responsible for identifying market and customer needs, defining strategy for the business line, and ensuring successful overall business performance. Sasha joined Mirion (then CANBERRA) in 2001 as a research physicist after completing his PhD in nuclear physics. He subsequently specialized in non-destructive assay (NDA) methods for nuclear waste and safeguards, and then transitioned into product management, and other leadership roles. His experience covers several areas including nuclear waste characterization and criticality accident monitoring.
