Biography

Dr. Per Lidar is a Senior Advisor at Studsvik for Radwaste Management and Decommissioning Technology with broad experience and 30 years of professional experience in the nuclear sector. Dr. Lidar has a Ph.D. in Materials Science from The Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm. He has provided technical support to numerous clients in the areas of waste characterisation, waste acceptance criteria, waste processing, clearance of potentially radioactive materials, database development etc. He is known nationally and internationally mainly related to processing of radioactive waste and metals, waste management, decommissioning, database QA/QC and for degradation of materials in LWR environments.
