Biography

Dr. Sebastien Kerisit received his PhD in Computational Chemistry from the University of Bath, UK in 2004. After two years as a postdoctoral fellow at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL), Dr. Kerisit became a staff scientist in PNNL's geochemistry group. During his career at PNNL, Dr. Kerisit has worked and led projects on fundamental science topics related to mineral nucleation, dissolution, and growth as well as applied research in nuclear waste glass corrosion and the development of radiation detection materials.
