Amy Rice is a hydrogeologist and numerical modeler. She has broad interests in water quality and how liquids and gases move through heterogeneous materials, especially in arid and semi-arid regions. As an environmental consultant, National Laboratory researcher, and academic research assistant, Amy has experience with federal, state, and industry projects. She is a proponent of using science to support informed environmental decision-making. Amy works for Neptune and Company in Los Alamos, NM and has a Ph.D. from the Colorado School of Mines in Hydrology (2018) and a M.Sci. from the University of Arizona in Hydrology and Water Resources (2009).
