Biography

Dr. Sarah Saslow is a scientist in the Subsurface Science group at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory. Her work has focused primarily on the immobilization of radionuclides and co-mingled contaminants that persist in nuclear waste streams or that require remediation from the subsurface. Specifically, her research seeks to understand how radionuclides interact with engineered materials and natural mineral phases to improve current immobilization and remediation strategies.
