Biography

For over 20 years, Marlene Oaks has been working as a Hanford Site Records Management Professional. She has held a variety of leadership roles in records management, including leading the team that developed and launched the most successful electronic record repository for the Hanford Site, recently passing a major milestone, declaring over 50 million federal electronic records. Marlene’s record management philosophy is to partner with information technology bringing creative, automated, solutions that increase compliance while decreasing manual records capture and human error. Marlene holds a B.S. of Science in Biology and has a passion for hiking and camping.
