Biography

Dan is a Distinguished Member of the Technical Staff at Sandia National Laboratories, with 30+ years’ experience as a software engineer and project manager. His areas of research include robotics, computer vision and red/blue applications of UAS and Counter-UAS capabilities. For the past decade he has served a principal role on SNL’s UAS Aviation Operations Unit (UAOU) which works across the DOE complex to field UAS for research, payload deployment, testing, and red-teaming. He holds BS and MS Degrees in Computer Science the University of Maryland and the University of New Mexico, respectively.
