Camille (Cami) Kudrna is a Mechanical Engineer in the Instrumentation, Robotics, and Imaging Systems group of Advanced Engineering at SRNL. Cami joined SRNL in June 2022 after earning her B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech. Cami has worked developing end-of-arm tooling and robot pathing for the automated receipt and inspection of Criticality Control Overpacks used to contain downblended plutonium produced through Surplus Plutonium Disposition. Alongside this work, Cami works to prove the concept of an Inspection and Remediation Facility for Dry Storage Canisters containing Spent Nuclear Fuel and support the DOE-EM initiative to implement wearable devices at DOE sites.
