Biography

Jake Deuel is the manager of the Advanced Field Operations & Robotics Department at Sandia National Laboratories, located in Albuquerque, NM. A major component of the R&D technology solutions his group provides range from robotically deployed systems (e.g., hazardous operations, high consequence operations, bomb disposal, mine rescue, and post detonation ground sampling robotic systems) to dismounted systems (e.g., X-ray targeting and disablement) along with multiple software solutions used throughout the first responder community.
