Mr. Wells is an engineer in the Asymmetric Engineering and Technology group at SRNL. He received a B. S. degree in computer engineering from the University of Tennessee and a M. S. degree in computer science from the University of Nebraska. He has worked on algorithms for an inspection robot, a reinforcement learning algorithm for a small walking robot, the automated calibration procedure for a femtometer, the positioning control system for an X-Ray system, and various other control system projects. His current research and development interests include software for control systems, autonomous systems, writing artificial intelligence algorithms, and data analytics.
