Biography

Dr. Jiannan Chen is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil, Environmental, and Construction Engineering at the University of Central Florida. He is also a member of the Consortium for Risk Evaluation with Stakeholder Participation (CRESP) and serves as the faculty advisor of the CRESP Early-Career Program. His research primarily explores the land disposal of cementitious and glass waste forms, as well as hydrological modeling in subsurface environments. Dr. Chen has authored over 50 research articles and has earned a spot in the 40 Under 40 Recognition Program by the American Academy of Environmental Engineers and Scientists.
