Zhiliang Chen is a post-doctor at Vanderbilt University, where he primarily works on assessing the long-term performance of a cementitious waste form under field scenario of landfill disposal, including the development of a geochemical speciation model accounting for the solubility of constituents from Cast Stone, a reactive mass transport model simulating the long-term leaching behavior of constituents of potential concern from Cast Stone, and an aging model estimating the drying, oxidation, and carbonation depths of Cast Stone.
