Biography

Alex Proverbio joined Dounreay in 2019. With several of years of experience working in waste, environment, modelling and safety case disciplines in the UK nuclear industry, Alex provided technical support to the review of the Site End State throughout its development. Alex’s current focus is on the ongoing development of the GRR implementation at Dounreay, leading on the development of the waste management plan and the site-wide environmental safety case. Alex has been involved in a number of national and international communities of practice, and he is co-chair of the NDA NWDRF Land Quality working group.
