Biography

Jennifer works as a Nuclear Engineer at Sandia National Laboratories where she focuses on safety for nuclear applications, to include operational safety assessments for radioactive waste disposal concepts. Jennifer is currently engaged in several projects specifically involving operational safety assessments for borehole disposal concepts. Jennifer's previous role included performing atmospheric transport and dispersion modeling for radiation releases, which is heavily leveraged in her current role. Jennifer received her Bachelor's degree in Physics from RPI, her Masters in Nuclear Engineering from Penn State, and is currently finishing up her PhD in Nuclear Engineering from the University of New Mexico.
