Biography

Tilman Fischer graduated with a M.Sc. in Petroleum Engineering from the Technical University of Clausthal in 2019. During his academic career, he focused on the area of Drilling Engineering, which led to a Master Thesis dealing with well engineering challenges for deepwater operator companies in cooperation with Wintershall Global Support in The Hague, Netherlands. After completing his studies, he gained a permanent position as scientific-technical engineer at BGE TECHNOLOGY, Germany. Here he is part of the geotechnical structures department and is involved in the development of the deep borehole concept for the disposal of radioactive waste.
