Biography

Dr. Bussod is a research scientist in the Earth System Observations group at Los Alamos National Laboratory. He received his PhD in Geology (1989) and his Habilitation Sciences (Doctorate) in Geophysics (1994) respectively from UCLA and the Université de Paris, France. He served as LANL Project Leader for YMP and PI for the Busted Butte, NV underground transport test from 1995-2001 and is currently Principal Investigator for several repository science projects including the NNSA-IAEC US-Israeli collaboration on HLW Repository Science project in the northeastern Negev desert in Israel, and Alluvial Basin subsurface flow and transport model for DOE-NE SFNW (SNL).
